i think it would be cool if there was a serious pirate movie with jack sparrow in it.... like without all the disney cartoonishness

yeah i liked them.... i just think jack sparrow is awesome and that they could do a lot more with the character without the whole disney thing... like a darker and more realistic pirate movie, but still weird and funny... maybe even a kind of prequel.. it will never happen, but it would be cool

I know Powers´book, that is very good. It is not strange that Disney tried as an adaptation for the franchisse of Pirates of the Caribbean. The novel has strong fantastic elements, ghost, demons, pirates and magic.
