 All you crazy musicians out there, I have very good news! Bandaids X Factor is back! Yes, the chance to show off your singing skills to the world is now upon you! Over a series of auditions, performances, and member polls budding musicians/singers will battle it out to be crowned the most talented music act on Bandaids - and there's over 100,000 of you here so that would be a huge accomplishment!! Last year Bandaids X Factor brought in over 30,000 views from members, over 1,000 votes, and even lead to one of our finalists getting a position in her school band as a singer (Hey Theresa! haha). Yes Bandaids X Factor is truly a great oppurtunity for starting musicians to finally get heard by an audience! The auditions begin on February 15th, and more details will be revealed as the comeptition reveals itself! We have a load of surprises, some awesome judges, a friendly member audience who support the artists, and a great atmosphere for people who want to be noticed to grow as musicians!  As said earlier, it's time to rep Starbucks Girl and promote the shit out of it. Evan did this week's ustream rocking his Starbucks Girl trucker's hat and a pretty sweet SG cup. So... Some bad news! Starbucks Girl most likely will not be on iTunes this Tuesday but there is good news! You can get it for free, simply by tweeting about it! Despite mixed feelings on the tune itself, one thing many seem to be able to agree on is it's damn good catchiness!  Evan's been working on Starbucks Girl for quite a while, playing clips for us in his uStreams and making it sound very fun. KHOP FM premiered it last night in it's entirety, and thanks to Bandaids member Bells Elle, you can listen to Evan Taubenfeld's "Starbucks Girl" right in our forums! Evan said in the forums that the radio sped it up, so it'll sound more normal at its original tempo - remember, it'll be available to purchase on iTunes this Feburary 09th and will also be a track in his debut album "Welcome to the Blacklist Club."

 Razorblade Limeade, one of my personal favorites and also appears to be a loved song by many fans, recently was discussed in a new video. Evan talked about all the neat instruments and sounds that make up the music, and the beginning of first recording it. He said what he originally had for Razorblade was an acoustic guitar, a bass and drum loop.  Yes, you may be used to Evan's awesome written blogs but this week, he decided to do it via video! (Which is just more for us though, right?) I promise you, this is one of the best Soda Sundays in a while - Evan says the album is completely finished! Not only that but days earlier he even gave us Welcome to the Blacklist Club's tracklist! In other news, Starbucks Girl will be available on iTunes on February 9! Last but not least, if you wanted to attend some pretty kick ass concerts this year, you're in luck!  Rocking a hat to hide what he called a 'bad hair day', Evan spent another Sunday with over 30 minutes of fan interaction. He performed "I Love the Both of You", "This is Goodbye" and even a bit of Avril's "Take Me Away." Speaking of Avril, Evan says she will make a special appearance in what he hopes to be a near future uStream but can't promise when. There's a bit of some heated discussion on his latest "Starbucks Girl" which he says will have it's very own competition soon! He teamed up with Apple to put out a garage band remix and promises it'll be a sick competition with amazingly cool prizes. Last but certainly not least, he says that there will be big news coming soon on his and his friends new albums! Stay tuned!  In this new video, Evan explained that many of the love songs he's written, especially the tracks on his album, were written from the perspective of being a victim - this, however, is different. He said it was about being a bad boyfriend and being quite careless but when you realize your significant other is about to leave, you do whatever you can to make them stay. Sounds pretty interesting, and I must admit, it's definitely a top favorite song and hopefully you'll enjoy it, too!  Awaiting a check up with his doctor, Evan typed up his 34th journal addition to the Soda Sundays blog series, explaining why he couldn't post this yesterday. He talked about the completed form of Starbucks Girl and putting a few finalized tracks on the album for a release date coming soon. He also wrote about going to the beach (which clearly isn't something he'd choose to do on his own time), seeing Youth in Revolt and his hatred towards waiting in lines.
